Have you ever had a panic attack?

What happens in the body when you panic?

The first thing is your adrenalin goes through the roof and you stop breathing, your ears are on high alert and the world can appear to be spinning or humming.

When this happens the best thing is to lay down immediately and focus on your breathing. Remember to use your heart chakra as the center of balance.

Always remember to breathe out first so you empty your lungs of the old energy, then breathe into your heart, then down into the center of the earth so you are grounded, then send the energy through your body and up to the furthest star, so you are anchored above and below. Breathe back down to your heart and commence the cycle again. By the time you have completed twelve cycles of breathing in and out, up and down your panic attack will be over. If at all possible eat some chocolate ice cream as soon as possible. You can laugh or think I am mad, but the sooner you get your digestion working the better. The chocolate will go straight through the stomach wall and feed the brain which will get you home. With your digestion working all your bodily functions will return to normal very quickly and your panic attack will be a thing of the past.

ImageWhen you panic it is because your body is telling you that it doesn’t have the fuel resource to do the job you are asking it to do. Your adrenal glands are the source of your creative drive as much as they hold the ‘fight or flight’ mechanism. If you exhaust your adrenal glands there is nothing left when you are in a crisis and the brain instructs the body to panic, which then creates more fear and more exhaustion. The general health of your body is essential if you are to enjoy your whole life and all it has to offer. When you find yourself ‘panicking’ it means you have lost faith in life for some reason and your normal resilience has been worn away over time or by events beyond your control. I know of many people who suffer from these random events in their life and they are impossible to teach. The thing to remember about all ‘medical conditions’ is that people actually really want them!

It has been my experience that people set doctors up as Gods and then hang on every word they say. I have not had that experience in my life, I have been kept out side the need for a medical system by a wise mother who knew about herbs and the healing powers of Mother Nature. Through her guidance I learned to trust my body and my connection to the earth. My mother loved to garden, she was deaf, but she didn’t ever panic, I guess she never ran out of resources for her brain!
To ‘panic’ is to agree you have no trust and you do have certainty things are out of your control and heading for disaster… and although you think you should…you have no answers! This is not true anymore! You now know how to breathe and how to bring yourself down to a grounded connected state before things go unconscious.
